Scarborough Swimming Club End of Year Trophy Presentation

Scarborough Swimming Club President and Head Coach, Sam Greetham presented his annual end of year trophy this week to swimmers Amy Corcoran and Joseph Moment.

This trophy has been awarded to many outstanding Scarborough swimmers in previous years, all who have shown commitment , determination and focus in their training. 

This years winners are no exception, 17yr old Amy Corcoran has consistently focused on her own personal progress in swimming, she has committed to a long term training program of development, understanding the importance of early morning training, pushing through tiredness and managing her recovery and education. Amy has been rewarded with outstanding achievements in her swimming, at Regional and National level, for the past seven years with Scarborough Swimming Club and is currently one of Britain's

top twenty Junior swimmers. 

13yr old Joseph Moment is a rising star at Scarborough. He has also committed himself fully to his training , including the 5am starts of early morning training. His consistent hard work is paying off with significant improvements to his technique and race times , he is currently ranked in the top ten at Regional level and has an exciting year ahead, as he pushes to break into National Level British Swimming. 

Congratulations to both these talented young swimmers, who are an inspiration to others and a credit to their coaches.
