Carlise Aquatics Masters Meet

Congratulations to Masters Swimmer Andy Beaumont, who represented Scarborough Swimming Club in the Carlise Aquatics Masters Meet on the weekend of 31st January/ 1st February.

Andys results were : 50m Freestyle 32.94 50m Breaststroke 43.54 50m Butterfly 34.90

Andy says “Last weekend I entered my first Masters swimming comp ever and the 1st time I've competed in the pool since my teens! Really pleased to "get wet" again and I attained a Phase 2 qualifying time for the British Masters in 50m Free! This is like a reserve spot and as my main goal is the English Nationals at the end of the year I'm happy that the training is paying off!”Andy also has a fundraising ‘just giving’ page , with further information on his 2020 goals: Andys Triple Challenge
